ABRACADABRA
(Tables set for 2/2/1 PU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES, 3000) In the tourney you must make your cards disappear out of your hand as fast as you can..
By melding and canasting as soon as you can.. the first person to make a canasta can go out.
The second person that makes a canasta can pu pile.
If the first person makes 2 canastas back to back they can go out and pu pile...
The twist is you only have 15 minutes to win this game..
The person with highest score wins. GOOD LUCK!!

You may meld anything at anytime, but you MUST have a meld in Aces seen on the table in order to canasta.
Once you have melded Aces you may canasta anything you want, but you MUST have a canasta in Aces in order to go out.
Aces MUST be in your meld before canasta and one of your canastas in order to go out. If you fail to do either/you DQ.
If you get a natural canasta in Aces, then you auto win.
Continue playing you lose the auto win.

THIS IS BASICALLY NTC WITH A TWIST.

Anti Sex

In this game you can meld and canasta anything, but 6s and 9s are discards only.
IF YOU MELD OR CANASTA 6S OR 9S YOU DQ.

A PERFECT 10
(Tables set for 2/2/2 PU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES, 5000)
In this game if you get a "perfect 10" ( a red canasta in 10's), you may ask your opponent in the NEXT hand of the game ONLY to .....
A) NOT go out, or B) NOT pick up pile, or C) NOT to make any black canastas, or D) NOT to make any red canastas.
Be sure to invite TD to check your "perfect 10" and the option you have chosen for your opponent.
In the event that no player makes a perfect 10, the game continues as regular play. (PICK UP)

ARMED AND DANGEROUS

In this game, wild cards can ONLY be used as you are going out.

In honor of Aussie Day, in this game you must have melded 2s with your 6s (662) and a meld in ACES with or without wilds in order to go out.
(Be careful on first melds if trying to meld 2s + jokers and other cards because you can not control where the 2 goes)
The 2 + 6 represents the 26th and ACES represent January, Austrailia Day 26th of January.

YOU CAN ONLY MELD THE 4'S 7'S 10'S AND Q'S ,MAKING YOUR DIAMOND.
YOU CAN MAKE CANASTAS OUT OF OTHER CARDS BUT NOT TIL YOU HAVE MADE YOUR DIAMOND.
AND OTHER CARDS CANNOT HIT THE TABLE. IF YOU CAN GET A RED in the 9's the pitchers mound.
YOU HAVE MADE A GRANDSLAM AND HAVE WON THE GAME INSTANTLY..
but remember nothing can touch the table but the 4's 7's 10's and queens.

BATTLESHIP
(Tables set for 2/2/1 NPU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES, 5000)
The object of this game is to sink all 5 battleships of your opponent.
The battleships are: 4 = Pt Boat, 5 = Destroyer, 8 = Submarine, 10 = Battleship, Aces = Aircraft Carrier.
To sink a battleship you must CANASTA the card assigned to it.
You must confirm each sinking by typing in the room, eg I sunk your pt boat or i sunk 4s.
Its up to you to keep track of which ones you have sunk.
You must sink all ships to get an automatic win.
If you happen to get lucky and sink their aircraft carrier with a red canasta you win automatically.
First to sink all five ships wins, if no one sinks all five ships then the player who reaches 5000 first wins.
You can meld and canasta anything you like and go out whenever you like to save your own ships.
Canasta 4,5, 8, 10 and Aces and you win.
A red canasta in Aces wins.
Dont forget to announce when you sink a ship.

BIG BAD WOLF *PU*

No one can meld until someone has taken the pile thus becoming the BIG BAD WOLF.
The wolf is the only one who can pick up the pile during that hand but can only make red canasta's.
The other player can make red or black but cannot touch the pile.
The wolf in this game is determined by whichever player is the first one to pick up the pile.

BINGO NTC!!!!
(Tables set for 2/2/1 NPU, NO BOTS, WILDS OKAY, 5000)
You must have 3 in a row (vertically or horizontally) before you make any canastas.
(Example: 4, 5, 6 or 4, 8, Q, etc. )
If you make a Canasta before you have your 3 in a row, no canastas until you have your 3 in a row.
HINT : Think of 3 vertical columns which contain these cards. The first column contains 3,4,5,6.
The second has the numbers 7,8,9,10.
The third has J,Q,K,A.
It is easy to see then that you can make a '3 in a row' by moving down any column.
You can also easily see what numbers to use for a horizontal meld of '3 in a row' ( eg. 5,9,k)... no touching the pile.

You must have 3 in a row (vertically or horizontally) before you make any canasta's.

You may take the pile at any time but remember no canasta's until you have your 3 in a row then you may go out at any time.

BIRTHDAY CAKE *NPU*

In this tourney you must make a birthday cake and the candle before you make any canastas.
Meld cards for the cake are 5, 6, 9, 10, K, A & 7 is the candle.
Once you meld all of your cake (wilds may be used), then you may make canastas and/or go out.
NO TOUCHING THE PILE. (3,4, 8, J and Q) ARE DISCARDS ONLY.

BIT OF BLARNEY *NPU*

You can meld anything, anytime but you must have 4s, Qs and As melded before making canastas.

BLACK JACK *PU*
(Tables set for 2/2/2 PU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES, 5000)
BLACKJACK EQUALS 21 (TWENTY-ONE).
Your canastas must also equal 21.
You must have 21, or BLACKJACK, to go out.
If you go over 21, you "BUST".
If your canastas total OVER 21, you LOSE and the game is called.
HINTS: ACES score as 1(one) OR 11(eleven) in BLACKJACK.
Some brave souls may opt to use the ACES as one point vs eleven points to try for more canastas.
But be careful! Your canastas must equal 21 (BLACKJACK) to go out.
J's, Q's and K's each count as 10 points.
The remainder of the cards equal their face value.
REMEMBER : IF your canastas total over 21, you will DQ.
If your canastas total less than 21, you cannot go out.
EXAMPLE : A canasta made of 6's, 9's and 4's totals 19 and you cannot go out.
A canasta made of 8's, 10's and 5's totals 23 and you will bust and DQ.....(PICK UP)

BLACK MAGIC

You are only allowed to make black canastas and to go out you must meld black 3s.

in this game you can meld anything and can canasta at anytime, but before going out you must meld the black 3's no black 3's no going out.
This can be played as ntc or as pu.

BLACK WIDOW *PU*
(Tables set for 2/2/2 PU, NO BOTS, WILDS OKAY, 5000)
You can only make black canastas and you may only discard black cards.
If you make a red canasta or throw a red discard (INCLUDING RED 2'S) you will be DQ'd.
JOKERS are neutral.
HINT: meld all your red cards and save your black ones for discards.

BLACK HOLE *PU*

You can not take the discard pile if a heart is thrown, everything else is regular cutty.
As a courtesy please state in game room what suit you are picking up (this is to make sure its not a heart).

You can only pick up when there is a heart thrown on the pile and only go out if you have a red canasta.

Your initial meld must consist of melding the queens with a joker and a 2.
Other melds can be made at this time.
However, Be sure that the queens is placed with the joker and 2 as this meld hits the table.
Neither player is allowed to pick up the discard deck at all.

BLOODY CUTTY

You can meld whatever or whenever you want (as long as you follow the 50/ 90/ 120 rules) but you can only make Red Canastas.

(ANY BLACK CANASTAS WILL RESULT IN AN AUTOMATIC DQ)......

You may meld your 4's and Ace's separately or you may meld them at the same time BUT no other cards may be melded until your next turn.
ONCE YOU HAVE MELDED 4'S AND A'S YOU MAY CANASTA THEM AND GO OUT IF YOU WISH.

LIKE BOOKENDS you can't meld or canasta any other cards until you've got your 4's and Ace's melded first.
You may meld your 4's on one turn and then meld your Ace's on another turn.
You may also meld your 4's and Ace's at the same time but no other cards may be meld until your next turn.
Once you've got your 4's and Ace's melded you may meld or canasta whatever you want to and go out.
NO TOUCHING THE PILE

BOWLING *PU*

This is regular canasta with 1 special rule.
You must have EITHER a canasta in 7’s and an open meld in 10’s, or an open meld in 7’s and a canasta in 10’s to go out.
You cannot canasta both 7’s and 10’s, you may only canasta one or the other.
HINT: Open meld does not mean initial meld, it simply means you must have that set melded on your board without it being a canasta.
You may meld at any time, but remember unless you have the 7-10 split…you cannot go out!
PILE IS UP FOR GRABS

BLOODY ROYAL SEX *PU/NPU*

In this tourney your Initial meld must include ROYAL (Q's & K's) OR SEX (6's & 9's).
One or the other, after initial meld game is played as regular NTC unless you get all 4 RED 3s and then you can take the pile.

For example: if your opp has aces you may not meld them, but once they have made a canasta of them you may meld them at that time.

BROKEN MIRROR 2 *NPU*

You cannot meld anything that your opp has melded on the board (if they have 7's melded then you cannot meld 7's.)
YOU CAN MAKE A CANASTA OF 7'S , BUT ONLY IF THEY GO RIGHT TO A NASTA AND NEVER TOUCH THE MELD BOARD.
Soon as your opp has canasta'd his melds then you can place them on your board.

the way you play this game is to be the first to meld.. because whatever you meld your opp has to meld as well.

In this special tourney you can meld anything at anytime but must have 4, 7, 10, Q's melded before you can make any nastas but If you can make a red canasta in 9s the campfire you win auto.
You can meld other cards with the 4 7 10 and Q's and you can use wilds.. No touching the pile.

CANASTA FIRST

This special tourney has 1 special rule.
You MUST meld with a canasta as your initial meld each hand!
This means you need to make a canasta which does not touch the table.
Other melds may accompany this canasta and these, of course, may hit the table. .....(PICK UP)

CANASTA BY MELD

In this game the number of canastas you need to go out depends on the meld you have to make.

this is a progressive rounds canasta game based on the number of the rounds you are in. this means the more rounds you play, the more canastas you need to go out. the following summarizes it.
you may have more canastas than the required amount; however, you may not have less.
In round 1, you need 1 nasta to go out. in round 2, you need 2, and so on. .....(PICK UP)

CANDY CANE (aka 1 red 1 black)

In this game, you may have as many canastas as you want to but you must have at least one red and one black canasta to go out.
If you go out without having one red and one black canasta, you will be DQ'D. .....(PICK UP)

CAN YOU SPELL JAK? *PU*
(Tables set for 2/2/2 PU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES, 5000)
Spell JAK by canasta Jacks, Aces and Kings in that order to spell JAK, and you win automatically, regardless of score.
The rest is played like regular canasta.
JAK MUST be spelled in order, or it does not count.

CARD UP

At the beginning of each hand, the first card up on the discard pile will determine how many canastas both players need to go out.
If the card up is red, you both need 1 canasta to go out. If the card up is black, you both need 3 canastas to go out......(PICK UP)

CARD UP NTC *NPU*

No picking up the pile, one canasta out.
In this game the up card of the deck will tell the game.
EXAMPLE: If the upcard is a 4 you need to use 4s in your initial meld per hand in this game.
If the upcard is a BLACK 3 game will be regular NTC that hand, you may go out at any time.

This is played like NTC with a twist, every time a Black 3 is played you TYPE/POST at the table "BLACK 3 - COLOR SEAT U ARE GOING TO" and then you STAND UP and SWITCH SEATS with your opponent(s)

CHANGE UP *PU*

In this tourney the rules change after each hand.
When a hand is over play must stop and the TD is notified.
The TD will then choose a TOUCH PILE rule that applies to the next hand.
If current rule is not followed or if play is not stopped between hands this will result in dqd from tourney.

CHEAP SEX *NPU*

Cheap sex is 69 in a dimestore so in this game you must have 6s and 9s melded to make canastas and you have to have 5s and 10s melded before going out

You can have as many canastas as you want of any color in this game.
Also, cheating of almost any kind is allowed.

FOUR OR MORE *NPU*
(Tables set for 2/2/2 NPU, NO BOTS WILDS YES 5000 PTS
In this tourney all melds must be 4 cards or more, including wilds. Melding 3 of a kind alone is a DQ.
Cards may go straight to a canasta if you want.
NO TOUCHING THE PILE
You have 45 MINUTES to play

FROSTBITE *PU*
(Tables set for 2/2/1 PU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES, 5000 PTS
The first person who melds is the only one that may freeze the pile (and will type FROSTBITE when you meld).
You BOTH may pick up the pile and go out anytime.

GAMBLER *NPU*
(Tables set for 2/2/2 NPU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES, 5000 PTS
BEFORE hitting start button you both must chose what 2 canastas you will make for the entire game.
You can NOT canasta anything other then the 2 canastas you pick.
Whoever makes both of their canastas in a hand gets AUTO WIN.
(EX. If I pick 5 and 9 and make both, I WIN!)
All play must stop and game is cancelled.

Gang violence
Tables 222 no bots, pick up, WILDS YES, 5000 PTS
In this special tourney you can meld anything but your canasta’s have to follow.
Example if you canasta queens then you must canasta either Jacks or kings to go along with them.
If you separate the gang, then you have Dqed.
Separate means you canasta queens then canasta a 4.
4s are a total other gang.
Choose your gang wisely.

GAVEL
(Tables set for 2/2/1 NPU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES, 5000 PTS
Making the Gavel using 4,5,6 8, 9 Q and KING...
Once you have melded and created the gavel then nasta's can be made but not until the Gavel is created no other cards can be melded or canasta'd

You MUST have Kings in your initial meld.

You may not meld unless you are going out, however you can make canastas straight from your hand.
To pick up the pile you must be able to make a canasta using the top card off the pile.
You can go out whenever you want.

GIRLS NIGHT OUT *NPU*

In this tourney, you must meld QUEENS and ACES before you go out.
NO Touching the pile and you need 1 canasta to go out.

GO FISH *PU*
(Tables set for 2/2/2 PU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES 5000 PTS
Game is played like Regular Canasta, but if you discard a black 3 you get to ask your opp for a card.
Opp draws a card and must discard REQUESTED card if he has it or says "GO FISH" if not.
If a black 3 is thrown and makes a request if you have the card they requested you must honor the request before going out.
You can go out your next turn unless there is another request made.
You can meld & go out at any time.
Pile is up for grabs.
KIBITZ ON IN THIS GAME
You have 45 MINUTES to play

GRAND SLAM DUNK *PU*
(Tables set for 2/2/1 PU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES 5000 PTS
You cannot meld anything in this one until you can go out.
You cannot pick up the pile unless you can go out.
This means if you pick up the pile you must play everything in your hand and in the pile and go out that turn.
PILE IS UP FOR GRABS
You have 45 MINUTES to play

GROUPER SHUFFLE NT
You must have one canasta from each group.
Group 1 is 4- 6, Group 2 is 7-10, Group 3 is J-A.
After you make one from each group then you can make any other canastas you want and go out.
DO NOT TOUCH THE PILE.

GUNS & ROSES *NPU*
(Tables set for 2/2/1 NPU, NO BOTS, WILDS YES 5000 PTS
In this game you may only meld 4's 8's 9's 10's J's and Q's.
All other cards are discard only.
You may NOT make any canasta's until your melds are complete.
If you make all your melds and canasta and you have the 4 red threes ( the roses ) you get auto win and game is stopped.
STOP ALL PLAY,NOTIFY THE TD.
If you discard you lose the auto win and must complete the game.

HANGMAN

This game is reg canasta with a twist: the first player to canasta has to do it in either aces or 8's.
If this player canastas aces, the other player's first canasta must be in 8's (or vice versa).
Neither player can canasta both aces and 8's.
After making the initial canasta, a player may make as many other canastas as he/she chooses....(PICK UP)

In this tourney, aces are like black 3s.
You cannot take the pile if an Ace is on top.
You may only go out if you have 3 canastas, provided that the 3rd canasta is Aces.
You may never meld Aces on the board unless it is as your 3rd canasta and can be made straight from your hand without touching the board.
You can have as many canastas as you want but you can not go out if you do not have three the last one being the aces.

HAUNTED HOUSE *NPU/PU*

No touching the pile, one canasta out.
This game is played exactly like ntc, you may not pick up the pile and only need 1 canasta to go out.
There is one major twist!
If you get all 4 red 3s your opponent may pick up the pile at anytime during that hand.
