Below is the answer I just received from Case about my Gold Membership on this ladder.... all is not lost, but we can not continue our lifetime membership that we had initially.
Better than nothing I say! So if any of you are interested in transferring your gold membership to the Wordline/Blockers Ladder at MyLeague, I suggest you emailing Case.

Hi,
I can transfer your Gold account for you. Once your Gold account is
transferred it will become a Yearly Gold account. Lifetime Gold accounts are
no longer available and we can only offer a Yearly Gold as a transfer. In a
year you would have to renew your Gold to keep your Gold status. Please
consider this before you request your transfer because it cannot be reversed
once it has been transferred.
Resubmit this request if you would still like to transfer your Gold
Membership. Please indicate in your email requesting a transfer that you are
aware it is going to switch to a Yearly Gold Membership once it is transferred.

  Awesome news Dem!!!
  But, before we all send in email requesting this, there is the other issue being discussed about making this ladder a wordline ladder and keeping everything that is here- stats etc, AND the lifetime gold as well.
  I have no idea what the answer to that will be- I wish I did, but it is something to consider before sending mail requesting a transfer IF those things effect or apply to you.
  Whether you request a transfer is up to you, but should this ladder actually be switched to a wordline one and you have transferred your membership, you will be unable to transfer it back, and it goes from lifetime gold to yearly gold too.
  Personally, I would kinda like to wait it out and see what Case's has to say about the request to change this to a wordline ladder, and keep my lifetime gold.

    I definitely will wait before I do any transferring of my Gold Membership now. I would like nothing better than to continue here just as we left off. So now I wait.
