Long time, no see, my poetess. It is sad to see what has become of what was once a vibrant ladder, at one time one of Cases largest. I have dropped by both sites, usually late, and there is never anyone there, unlike the olden days. I clicked on standings for active players in both and saw only 13 and 15 members active, respectively. It appears many have trodden down a new path, whether it be new spades sites, new games altogether or simply migrated away from the internet. Though the ladder had been declining prior, the Zones demise, as we knew it, appears to have dealt a critical blow to this ladder.

Your post sounds somewhat ominous, as you talk of your life 'getting closer to an end'. Is everything alright ? I do hope all is well with you and miss you, too, momma.

  Dearest Zone Friends:
  Glad I met you- shall never forget you -
  You played spades with me as I sat with
  One baby in my arms - the other with his charms
  going from room to room - oh how I miss them!
  Dom is now almost 13 and has grown soooooooo tall and handsome - Ariel is also growing so fast - has entered several talent shows and won some -
  Dom live in California w/his grandfather - Ariel lives w/Jessica's best friend (her last wishes)
  the other lil child lives w/his dad - saw Dominique on my b/day and almost didn't rcognize him - grown so tall - so "I don't need you now Granny" etc --- but it's ok - there is no way he can forget the 12 yrs we spent w/Dom and his sister Ariel - Ariel has become beautiful~ Dom is now your "average Calif kid -" plays on soccer/basketball/boxing etc" --- Oh how I miss them and each of you! My love to you Ken and your warm hellos! Bobbie Jeane

  many many special hugs to you KMAJ - no, my life is just beginning! that is why I need all of you! please help me find you! I can play almost anytime - this week hubby is on vacation and on "my back" most of the time - work here is never thru' - ahhhhhhhhh the "country life" for a "city girl" is lil' tough - but I am sure I will get use to it - mailbox so far I use golf cart to go get mail! Not true! that is one of my exercises - and my pets - will be in Costa Rica July 16-23rd - hope to take my laptop w/me - have lovely home here - would love to see some of you come fish/relax/go for boatride (Lake Fork) eat some good ole' country cooking - yep! I do have a huge garden - so all I need now is a cow! the vegetables are awesome - the work tiring - but worth it - Jack is still doing his "handiwork" - fence is now in progress and that should complete his part -- acre of land on water - fencing off first 1/3 of land - with beautiful St augustine and plants/flowers - come see us! my love to my dearest friends who still remember me! and No - I haven't changed - except I weigh 19 lbs less - the exact amount of weight I have tried for years to "get rid of" - it's easy here - work all the time! more later on "country life" bjc Bobbie Jeane

  Ken? I meant I have passed the half-way point in life - am on the downside - but hanging in there! I am planning to live to be 100+ - looks like I am traveling at fast pace to get there!
