MyLeague: Scrabble 2

I just got the scrabble 2 cd today. I installed it and the patch and continued on to the zone in hopes of catching a few games before suppertime. Well I wasn't able to play because everytime someone else launched I was sent into cybersiberia. The screen went black like it was about to do something and that was it. To get away from this black screen I actually had to turn off the computer. So then I tried launching. That worked a little better in that I actually made it to the Scrabble screen that said I was waiting for the other player. Well no one was ever actally able to get through to me. I waited and waited. So anybody got any clues on how to fix this? I have a cable modem, do not have XP and do not have a firewall up. I'm also able to play this disc against the computer. Any help would be mucho apprectiated.

  I am having the same problem - after playing on this site for more than 6 months.
  If somebody else launches -- when the "players screen" FINALLY comes up nobody else is there and have to do a hard boot.
  If I launch -- I am the only one there.
