We appreciate your support of her league to honor her devotion to playing Double Pinochle.

This league was formed for the members...and as such our members comments and suggestions are important

to us in making certain this is truly an elite league.

  Rules for An Elite League Tournaments

• • 1)Once you have registered and checked in for a tournament you should be in the play ok lobby and chat at least 5 minutes before the TD announces the tourney is closing for pairings. If not you could possibly be removed from the tournament entirely by the software.

     

  • 2)When setting your table please do so in a timely manner after pairings are posted or you could be disqualified from the tournament. A 10 minute timer will be set in the event there is no response from either partner. Please let your TD know if you need a Sub.

     

  • 3)Please set tables to non-rated, public 15 minutes. NHC is 20 minutes. Table setters please make sure settings are all correct before game is started.

     

  • 4)Once your first round table is created, if you are missing or booted off a timer will be set for ten minutes during the round. If player does not return they will be disqualified from the tourney. A sub will be provided for the rest of the round. A player will be disqualified once they have left the table 4 times during a game.

     

  • 5)Once a game has started there is no private messaging allowed by any one of the players to another player in the same room. Sender of the messaging team will be disqualified.

     

  • 6)Lagging/dropping issues. Anyone who gets 3 minutes behind the fastest player in the round must step down or be disqualified. Once down, the TD or available sub will play for the slow player up until the last card. The slow player must throw the last card of the final hand. You may continue to play until the sub is ready to sit.

     

  • 7)Winners will inform the TD of the win and 1 player must hold their table until the next round is posted. The reason for this is to insure a new table is used for each round.

     

  • 8)Booting a player. The TD normally is available to boot a player. If not the Player that set the room may boot a disruptive non-player. You must copy the chat out of the room showing the disruptive text and send to your tournament TD. Disrupting a tournament will not be tolerated. If the disruptive player is actively playing in the tournament a TD must boot the player and determine further actions.

     

  • 9)Harassment or abusive behavior/words toward the TD or any player (especially their partner) is not tolerated and could result in being disqualified or boxed. It should be reported to a league administrator for possible further action. Please do not take matters into your own hands. Copy and paste the text and send to an Admin for decision. Watchers are permitted, provided they are not disruptive. No offensive emoji's are allowed in chat or play. Remember we all play differently. We are here to have fun not teach or criticize.

     

  • 10)Should a player wish to concede, they must get permission from their partner to forfeit. Should you rudely leave the TD will send you a warning and the 2^nd offense will be boxed. This Is not fair to the other players who could be entitled to a BOSTON. The only exception is in finals with a sub as long as they have taken 1 trick. BOSTON IS AN AUTOMATIC WIN.

     

  • 11)Playing on the same IP address. If two players live or are visiting in the same household they will not be allowed to partner. Should they come up in the pairings as partners the TD will use the X Factor and assign a new partner in the software. We encourage other household members to play.

     

  • 12)All players must abide by and respect their Tournament Director's rules which they have the final decision. Administrators will determine any submitted disputes and send you their decision/response. Please include all copied chat to support your claim.

     

    13) BRB rule during game play. If you request a BRB during gameplay you are responsible to STEP DOWN to stop the clock. If not you will cause the room to time out and the TD will have to keep a manual score to finish the game. Please be courteous and STEP DOWN to avoid a time out. Whenever possible a TD will sub for you till you get back.

     

     

     

    Although we have tried to be as detailed as possible, we can't cover every aspect of gaming in our rules. Please be advised that just because something is not stated in our rules and policies, then that does not mean it is allowed. Use common sense. If it is something that will adversely affect other members and you might think twice about it, then it's probably against the rules. The Admin staff will have the final say in such matters.
