As you know Hoyle is down again.

http://hoylegames.sierra.com/ seems to be down again.

I'm trying to find some information on the problem and if/when it will be resolved.

In the meantime, the following seems to work for most players:

1. Open the C:WINDOWS32driversetc
folder and right click on the Hosts file.

2. If there is a check mark in the "Read Only" box remove it and then click Apply.

3. Now double click on the Hosts file.

4. When the dialog box opens and asks you what program you want to use to open it, select Notepad.

5. At the bottom of the file starting in the first column and keeping everything on one line enter 8.5.0.53 hoylegames.sierra.com.

6. Be sure that there is at least one space between the IP address and the host name.

7. Close the Hosts file and save it.
