I would like to know now that playsite is no longer offering Monopoly does that give the right of other myleagues to just come in and take over our room...

The league I saw playing in our room was a playsite league displaced... their address is... www.myleague.com/promonopoly... do they have permission to be playing in our room?

I just wish I could urge all memebers to come back to our league and make it stronger and better, like it used to be... But it seems no one seems to care... Not even our Op's, TD's and others that are higher up... Instead of trying to make our league active again... It seems they are just willing to sit with their dice up their butts and let other leagues take over our room...

What a shame...

Many a time I just sit in here and can't find anyone to play... *shakes head*... Maybe it's just time to let this league die once and for all and let another league that is obviously active in offering their members games and tournaments to play...

A sad, sad day...

  I asked one of the admin's about thier permission. He said they got permission to play in the room but not to advertise, but they not following that everytime im in their, they advertising. The admin would evn addy their league in there when i was there, saying it was a accident. Now how many times does a accident happen.In this case about twelve times.

    Well report them, I also believe they are not allow to host tourneys or play league games in a cases room this according to myleage policies.

    I would like to try to become a td here and run some tourneys. Where do you play?

    Well cowboy since alot of us are feeling the same way... then maybe the members need to take the league back if we can find someone to hold tourneys... otherwise I think it is pointless in complaining if no one and I do mean no one wants to do anything about it... Im actually considering joining the league in this room as I want to play... If that is the only way I get to play again... *sighs* Would like it to be with our league but I guess if this is the only way I get to do tournaments...

      Gem this has to stop. You are one of my oldest and dearest friends on this ladder but I'm extremely disappointed that you keep making comments that noone cares when I dont see you doing anything yourself to help the league.

      I sit in the lobbies for hours on end some days and see noone to play with. I drag friends in to play with me from other leagues that absolutely hate monopoly to keep at the bare minimum of activity here. Then I come in here every few days to find your negativity and bitterness that noone is doing anything and noone cares.

      I think there are people that care and I think you are one of them. Maybe they are to busy to show it at the moment but you obviously have some free time to post your thoughts. Maybe you should use this spare time doing something productive for the league instead of threatening to join another.

      Yes, the league is in a major slump, but take a look, new people are signing up everyday. If caring members would just seek them out and drop them an email to arrange a game, maybe we could get it back up and running again.

      As for the league occupying our lobby right now, let me say I have never seen a more rude or arrogant bunch of td's and admins as the ones we tried to converse with the other nite. I dont know if I could respect anyone that would call them a member of a league run by such hooligans.

      I am willing to help, I will apply for td however I can only host around 10:00 - 11:00 am and 11:30 pm. Maybe this can help. Hopefully we can get some support from our op to get this other league out of our room. Could some one tell me where we are playing now ???

  Gem, you know I love ya, but that was a bit harsh on Ates. She does care and I know because I worked with her on chasing that last league back to Park Place. I had a pretty busy week this week, but I have made an effort to play games here and have recruited some friends to make activity when there was none.

  You were an op here to and still would be if your own activity hadnt of dwindled. I dont think anyone here has a right to complain about others not caring. Its time to get up and do something about it.

    7's You are correct Ates did do everything in her power to get this league up and running again... I didn't mean her when I made my reference but it was an oversight...

    Ates, I humbly apologize for not excluding you in my recent posting...

    Yes I was an OP for the league, but when my life started getting to hectic, I stepped down as I felt it was the right thing to do, as I couldn't donate/give my time to the league and I felt it wasn't fair... Also it didn't help that games.com was so messed up that no one could get in either...

    
    All Im saying it's just a shame I sit in the room and can't find anyone to play a match with... I hardly go to the room much anymore and it's a pity, as I miss playing the game...

    I wish there was something any of us could do to save the league... Ive met and played some great players Ates and you included 7's... We have been in the league a long time... Guess I'm saying it's breaking my heart to just see it go by the wayside...

    If anyone can figure out what can be done to try and save the league... I'm willing to try to do that... But trying to do it alone {as Ates tried, just proved it too much for one to handle, All league members have to try and get this league going, it can't be done by just 1,2, maybe even 3 people} So any league members reading this has any ideas or is willing to try and pick it up again...   Sad ineed, Especially when THE "op" tried her best to get this ladder back up and gets blamed for having to work for a living.

  I promise you guys that if I get a couple of dedicated tds that are not affraid of getting their own players, instead of leaning on the "HTD" to get players for them, this ladder will thriev.

  But until then, I can only do so much.

  I love you guys but I had to go back to work. I will be back hopefully soon.
