Sure tourneys are free..all it costs you is time and if you don't have a sense of humour, that will cost you $5.00 lol
You register for cases ladder and then on same page on right side is list of tourney times..Click on time you want to play and then click on register..insert your nick (must be same one as you registered on cases with) then click on read rules (after you read them of course)
To play, go to www.pogo.com and then click on euchre and then cases tournaments
