The topic of TRAM has come up in recent days. Here is what SafeHarbor Games has to say on this:"TRAM
When Turned On:
* The person leading the trick is certain to take all the rest of the tricks, or
* The defending team lost two tricks, resulting in a "Euchre" situation.
* Then, in those cases, the game will print a message in the middle of the table, and turn on 'auto-play' mode for all players, causing the hand to then play out without any more clicks or input from the players.
In the case of leading the trick, the message printed on the table is "TRAM". In the case of Euchre, the message is "Euchre"."My thoughts on this -
1. There are times when a person may have a strategic play they wish to make that is different that what the game chooses for them to play.
2. We certainly do not want TRAM on if the game is Reverse as the reasoning behind SHG is that we are all playing to win.
3. While having TRAM on does make the game go faster, it is much more boring to watch cards fly out of your hand without you doing anything. I do not come to play to let the game play my hands.Just to let everyone know - I have edited my rules to eliminate TRAM. I won't have it in my tournaments. I will ask the table be remade if it is set on. There is no wiggle room in this.
