    Hi all,

Along with this newsletter there will also be a posting in the forum of the ladder.

Today all ladder matches and tourney play will switch to PlayOk.com. The links for the playing room and the chat rooms involved will be posted on the main page before the end of the day.

All games for the singles ladder will be played in room #300, worytki (there are only 3 rooms here, at top use dropdown once game site loads) at this link:

    http://www.playok.com/en/pinochle/

    The chatroom is as follows:

    http://www.wireclub.com/chat/room/cases_singles_lobby

Neither the game site, nor the chat site, require downloads and it is best not to click on any ads.

This is also going to mean you have to make 3 nicks match, Case's, chat, and PlayOk. Signup as close as you can, and ops and others will help this week on getting things to match up. There will be SOME leniency here for a while

All games, ladder and tourney will be played in one game room at PlayOk. from one chatroom for both ladder and tourney play.

Some quirks at Play.ok which have been sent to the owner, no reply yet, but which you will have to deal with.

Sometimes a bid will post as one above the bid you made, example: 50 might show as 51, or 60 or 65 might show as 61 or 66. A single marriage run counts as 19, instead of 15. I see that a double run is counting as 158 also. During bidding process, it is best not to be chatting in room as hitting the space bar sometimes causes an autobid. If you get booted you don't have much time to get back.

Most important is that the site delares high score the winner if both go over 500. WE WILL STILL USE THE RULE THAT BIDDER GOES OUT. If you cannot take a screenshot prior to last card played for proof if this issue arises, call a Td to the table in a tourney, or an op or someone else who can screenshot the score in a ladder match.

Whoever chooses to set the table chooses settings, private, unrated, set timer to 30 minutes, etc, using the setting button. The setter is also the only one who can kick someone if a wrong or abusive player shows up. Intentionally booting a member actually playing in the game will mean an automatic loss to the setter's team. In the case of a disconnect, and the player does not make it back in time, you will have to report a loss. Remember that the time in PlayOK is very short.

Gaming Safari has set the first meeting with their programmer for Friday, and updates will be posted later. After all of this takes place, a vote will be set up in the booth.

There is no drop down menu for room 300 - I do see other rooms (i.e. 200, 800) ????
