ANYBODY NEED A HOSTS FILE OR DOES THE ONE YOU CHANGED NOT WORK?--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK This post is for those who have been having problems changing their hosts file and for those who have changed the file but are still having problems. The first thing you need to do is find the hosts file and make sure that it isn't READ ONLY.
I have created an utable Zip program that will do it all. All you need to do is click on the proper link and when the dialog box comes up click on "Run" and then "UnZip" and the file will be downloaded and put in the proper location. Do not change any of the other information. When you get the message "1 file unzipped successfully" just click on close.
If, when you click on the link and the "Run" option isn't there then save the file to the desktop and then go to the desktop and click on the file.

WINDOWS XP http://salfantasia.us/Downloads/XPhosts.exe
WINDOWS VISTA http://salfantasia.us/Downloads/VISTAhosts.exe

Hoyle Help
You should find 'My Computer' either as a desktop shortcut OR on your Start Menu (Bottom left of your screen).
If you click on 'My Computer' then on the drive your files are (C or D)
Look for the file 'Windows', click on that. Inside that,
look for the file called '32', click on that, inside that
look for the file called 'drivers', click on that, inside that
look for the file called 'etc', click on that, inside that
(Check the information in my mail below, in case the next file is 'Read Only')
look for the file called 'hosts' ................ RIGHT click on that, and open select 'Open with Notepad'
Once you have it open, go to the very bottom and paste this:
8.5.0.53 hoylegames.sierra.com
Close the the window and save this then try accessing Hoyle.
