I feel proud to be father to many new Super Players! If some of you didn't read my Online Super Spades Book already you can find it from this address (CLICK BOOK-LINK):power.rules.it
--I just won 2 players, Profile says only +1; daily res is two wins.. Who did this SQL programming?
--What does Cases Rule Book say about table settings? I thought we all come here to play standard 500 point spades..

Playing a Match
Once you have found an opponent and you are ready to start your match, there are some rules about the match to keep in mind.
Settings:
There are no illegal settings for Ladder matches as long as BOTH players agree to them before the match begins. If someone starts the game with incorrect settings you should point it out and immediately return to chat. This will allow you to make sure you both understand what the other player wants. You can then restart the match.
We have set default settings for some games. If your game has default settings they will be listed in the next section. If any of these rules conflict with overall Ladder rules, the game specific rules apply.

Matina, thank you for fast reply but maybe my question was too general. I will not mention names but here is the real situation: Player A told me that we will play Player B with Table Settings X. I thought it was OK. But after game started i saw that Player B has but Table Settings Y instead of X. Since it was the game Player A had asked me to partner i didn't want to protest but it really felt wrong to play other settings than promised.
I don't know, maybe Hunii or some Op Manager knows what is the specific interpretation of this setting rule.

P.S. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMatina when is your next tournament?

by Matina on June 16, 2002 at 11:03:32 PDTWhen you enter a table you have the rules shown and then you can decide if you want to play those rules or not. It I am not mistaken you asked your p about the settings before you entered the game. I didnt see any reply form your p but you asked 2 or 3 times before entering.
When you in the beginning of the game decide to play along with the rules that are set i dont see how you can complain... but I didn't really wanna answer that lol just show you the rules not interpret them - that is not my business lol
Next tourney
I have a 1v1 at 12 pm EST tomorrow - hope you will find the time and join :o)
