This is a little info as to why it will be a while before Mille comes back....if ever.
In January 2004, Games Inc. and Atari entered into an agreement for the sales of games.com to Games Inc. As the following websites attest to, there were problems with the acquisition almost from the beginning which has resulted in litigation between the parties, with each accusing the other of breaking the agreement.Press release in Game Infowire, com

As the first new stories points out, Games Inc. plans to turn games.com into a pay for play site.US Securities and Exchange Commission - Quarterly Report: Litigation Section - Atari, Inc., Atari Interactive, Inc., and Hasbro, Inc. v. Results of one section of the lawsuit between Atari and Games Inc.: http://www.brownraysman.com/Interne...AtariVGames.pdf This decision seems to make me assume the litigation between the parties is still on-going.
With regards to Rook, Miles Borne and the other games recently taken off the site, according to the published reports above, it would appear that those games may not have been part of the purchase agreement and that the games currently on the site are the games agreed to in the agreement.

I thought this news was common knowledge. I think Drew covered this a long time ago. Also you can go onto the games.crap forum and there are a ton of links explaining everything (or nothing at all depending on what side of the fence you are sitting).

Actually drew has not posted about the lawsuit or the fact that Mille was not brought by game.inc. If this had been covered I don't believe so many people on here would be in the dark. Which would be "common" knowledge if you read the links.: I thought this news was common knowledge. I think Drew covered this a long time ago. As far as Drew's last post, he delt with the Programmers dealing with the CURRENT game problems, and them fixing that. According to the links above even the programers have stopped fixing the current owned games. Drew's last post was on April 11. Seeing as some of this news deals with May I see no way that Drew could addressed this in the forum.

Just to help with clarification, in January 2004, yes, the site was sold to Games Inc. However, the deal had not been closed at that point. At the end of February, the deal fell through. At that point, Atari decided to keep the site for themselves and no longer sell the site. This is where the current legal battle is coming in. Definitely read some of the links given by mrbuddy. Some of those are older from last year, but is still good info.
As of late, there is still no additional info on when they will resume development on the site. As mrbuddy said, I am not expecting the game to be back on this site anytime soon, especially since there are rumors out there now that Microsoft may be purchasing the online rights to the the game.
Only time will tell.
Drew
