Today I was working so I had no chance to play. By the time I logged into the zone there were 0 people in room 1, and the only people showing on my friends list don't play on this ladder.

WE go through these periodic lulls where it looks like the ladder is on its last legs. Here we go again. Though I have tried other hearts ladders, and I do play a little 1x1, and when I get really desperate I will wander in to the rated room (GASP!), my first love has always been this ladder, and a good game of low man hearts. I've made some great friends over the years, and it saddens me to see people feel as though they have to take sides.

I've read the back and forth in the two 1x1 forums, and I think the rift between the two groups has hurt this ladder tremendously. When we were all forced to play in one room there was a lot of activity on all the ladders. 1x1 players from both ladders would play 4 way, and would play 1x1.

When the groups split up up into two rooms again the room 2 group felt the need to create another 4 way ladder. It's true the Room 2 ladder does allow partners which this ladder doesn't. Some players play on both ladders. But I do find it silly when players feel as though they have sneak into the other room and ZM to get somebody to fill a table. I looked at today's results from both ladders. This one had 24 matches which translates to 8 actual games. The MyLeague ladder had 16 matches which I think translates to 4 matches since they all appear to be partners.

It would be nice if we could have one ladder with a good amount of activity instead of 2 with up and down activity.

What is it people want to make a good ladder? Should we allow pards here? How do we get people back, and how can we have fun, but have a good game of hearts??
