Smoke, This post comes from a place of love for our evening TD's and HTD's... We have some who worked their buttes off night after night to keep players playing and suddenly we go hours without any tournies multiple nights. This goes beyond people having lives of their own and things to do that they can't find time to set. All of us regulars know that because we have become invested personally in the TD's and HTD's that take time out of their own lives to take our minds away from whatever stress we have going in ours. It's pretty obvious we have some unhappy hosts. Hoping you will take the time to talk with each one of them ONE on ONE. Only good can come from it. Thanks- Letter to Head Admin View

Zippity, If I thought the lack of tournies was due to TD's taking care of their daily lives I'd never have posted about it. No one is obligated to host, though I don't know why you'd put your name on the list and never or rarely set 1, what's the point? My post was simply an ASK of Smokediver to meet with his TD's for a real conversation about the league and what suddenly has TD's that LOVE to set and be a part of the good, the bad and the ugly of hosting signing up for it less and less. Some may speak up and some may not for fear of being removed from hosting or thought poorly of. But I care enough about those who have cared enough about us to give so much of their time to sit back and say nothing when it's obvious things aren't right. There are other leagues to play in as everyone has had to find out so this is in NO WAY about wanting to get more tournies, we can find tournies. This is about caring about THESE TD'S.

I see people in the lobby complaining that thier aren't any tourneys up. Well, I see this in a lot different ways and may get backlash for what I am about to say.But here goes:
1. TD's, Admin and HTD's have lives just as we do as members. We aren't here every day either. So, we need to give them a reset period also.
2. Why would anyone want to host when members complain about anything or everything. When members (I am one) don't want to talk at a table that is my right, just as it is yours. There is no need to swear at each other or say demeaning words.
3. Admin get flooded with emails, messages etc. from members. They may take a day or so to go through it all and figure out what they feel is the right actions.
4. If we as members have an issue with no TD's to host maybe we should look at ourselves and fix the problem within us. We all have issues we are dealing with and isn't visible to all members. Some of us only speak to certain members.
5. Some TD's don't host for a month or more and when they are in the lobby and asked to host they say they have to leave soon or so and so is coming in. But these TD's are the first ones to come in and make a request or be rude to members.
6. And if we as members want to sit here and complain there are no tourneys maybe we should put in a TD application. But remember being a TD takes time, dedication and a lot of patience.
