Cheek and I met and played our first Scrabble game on the Zone on October 31, 1999. And they said it wouldn't last.

  What makes this anniversary so amazing is that I even deigned to play you TWICE. Considering that in our first game, you played QUAHOGS for about seven zillion points, asked me what kind of nickname �Cheek� was (and you even laughed when I said I thought you had to use your REAL name to play on the Zone) and then suggested, not too kindly, that the very LEAST I could do was learn the twos. From that point you proceeded to beat me 31 straight times, until that golden game #33, when I totally whipped your butt. I don�t even care that you had the flu.

  I don�t know how many thousands of games we�ve played since then; I lost count long ago. The stats would probably be embarrassing, and I wouldn�t even care. In fact, I�ve even forgiven you for posting all the trailer trash photos of my house, my car, and my family. Now, the child support for our love child, little Tyrone, is another matter. And no, you can�t trade it for the money I owe you for Scrabble lessons.

  Thanks for ten wonderful years. Falling into the �North Atlantic� was a lucky day for me.

  Congrats to you both! I started at the zone on Apr.1/99..and played both of you . The first time I made it to #1 was after beating you Tyrone..what a feat THAT was! No other win has ever compared to that one! You are both excellent players and I learned alot from you both..not to mention the times Tyrone you helped me when I had problems playing at the zone...thank you for all that you have done for me.. as Marilyn would say.."my hero" :)
