: I will never forget the chat Patty and I had not long ago where she told me just what I needed to hear for the situation at hand. I thought to myself how fortunate we are; what a treasure she is to have her on staff here. I am going to miss her so much. I to hope her grands come through ok; I know she is right there in spirit beside them, as she is for all of us. Tigerlilly

As you all can see, Patty is now #1. She has been #1 many times in real life. I know she will remain #1 as a very dear friend in many of our lives.

It is a real honor for her to have been placed there by the Staff of our Ladder. Her name will remain their for many years.

I will always remember how we used to battle for the most games hosted and how we even co=hosted in our many milestone games.

You will be sorely missed by all of us.

      Hi Everyone.

I am so sorry to hear about what has happened and she will be in all our prayers.

At this time, I have adjusted this player's rank to rank 1 for 24 hours. Additionally, I have placed the account in the penalty box for 9999 days, so that the account will not purge once the membership is expired or not renewed.

      Thank you for your time.

It is so hard to belive that Patty won't be around anymore. She has provided so many hours of enjoyment and relaxation for everyone in our league and always had time to chat with each of us. She was a wonderful friend!
I didn't realize how much the people in Y!Canasta have become a part of my life and how close I feel to them. As we remember Patty, I will also give thanks for the other friendships that have developed on this ladder.

Billie you made a good point. Tragic things happen unexpectedly. I think it is very important for each and everyone of us to let our loved ones as well as our friends know each and everyday how important they are to us. When your in a rush to head out that door...take a few minutes and be 2 minutes late just make sure you give that person a hug and tell them bye because you never know when it will be your last hug.

It doesn't quite seem real. Patty has been on so active on this ladder for years! I hope her family (especially her grandkids) are all ok I know she wouldn't have wanted anything to have happened to any of them. Patty and her family will be in my thoughts and prayers!

      We will miss you Patty,

      ~Amy
