League Rules

1. Your MyLeague nickname and Tams11 nickname MUST match exactly. If you need help with this, just contact the host.

2. The top brackets invite the lower brackets. In SWISS & ROUND ROBIN style tournaments you play all rounds, win or lose, unless you withdraw. In SINGLE ENTRY (SE OR S/E) tournaments, you play until you lose, once you lose 1 time you are out of the tournament. In DOUBLE ELIMINATION (DE OR D/E) tournaments you play until you have lost twice. Once you lose the second time you are out of the tournament.

3. In the case of a missing player, ask for a timer in the lobby. When the player returns be sure to ask for timer to be paused.

4. If you were placed on timer as the top bracket, you still retain the responsibility to make the table when you return.

*SINGLE ELIMINATION-(1vs1) You will get a 5 minute timer and if you time out your opponent automatically advances and you will be out of the tournament.
*SWISS-(1vs1) You will get a 5 minute timer the first round and if you time out, the host will report the loss for you. You can get a second 5 minute timer in the same tournament, however, if you time out again, you will be withdrawn from the tournament and you opponent automatically advances.
*SWISS-(Partners) You and your partner will get a 5 minute team timer (total combined for the team) the first round and if you or your teammate times out, the host will report the loss for you. Your partner will have the option to withdraw your team or hope that you are able to return for the next round. Your team can get a second 5 minute timer in the same tournament, however, if you or your teammate times out again, you will be withdrawn from the tournament and your opponents automatically advance.
*DOUBLE ELIMINATIONS-(D/E) You will get two 5 minute timers per tournament, after you time out the second time you will be out of the tournament because you will then have two losses.
In all cases if you are booted or timer is called for 3 times, you will need to report loss for that round.

******If the room host gets booted from tams, the game will be restarted from the beginning and play until time is called. If less than half the game time remains then a quick 1 round no discard game will be played. This will be for 1 on 1 as well as for partners games.
**If both players get booted from tams or leave before a tournament is finished and they are playing against each other and both time out, then the first player to leave will get the loss.

5. Tams11 glitches are uncontrollable and can not be used to pardon you for timing out.
6. Sportsmanlike behavior is expected at all times. Please say Hi and Good Luck and Good Game to your opponent(s). The lobby is not to be used as the complaint center. Contact the host via yahoo messenger or Tams11 private messenger regarding questions and concerns of a conflicting nature. This is a family league, please keep conversations in the lobby at a PG rated level. Please no cursing and absolutely no use of the "F" word.
7. You are not allowed to watch games in Tams11. If you inadvertently go to a table where a game is being played you will be asked to leave. If you repeatedly go to tables where games are being played you can be disqualified from the tournament and can possibly receive a suspension.

8. You MUST report your match ASAP in the lobby (winner///non-winner) and to the MyLeauge tournament page (click on Report link) if you are the non-winner. If you leave the lobby without reporting, you will get a warning. A second offense and your file will be noted. If you get 2 file notes on this subject, you will be placed on suspension for 3 days. If you need help with reporting, ask the host, please do not just leave. If a player does not report their match within 1 minute from end of play, the host shall announce in the lobby that he/she will report the match and give the player 30 seconds to either report or respond in the lobby before reporting.

9. Please donate at your own risk. Donations will not be refunded due to getting bumped out of a tourney because the maximum number of players has been reached. Also, if you time out, you will not be refunded any donations or entry fees. *If a tournament is CANCELED for any reason, donations ARE automatically refunded at 100%. There is no need to send in a ticket requesting a refund.

10. Disputes between players or with hosts are NOT to be aired in the lobby or at a tournament table. Please send instant messages or you can send in a ticket. You will get only ONE warning, and then you will be withdrawn from the tourney, and your file noted.

11. One 3 minute "BRB" (Be right back) per player will be permitted per game. If the player’s BRB exceeds 3 minutes, the 5 minute timer will be started. If a timer is started for exceeding the 3 minute BRB allotment, the timer will include the 3 minutes already used.

12. With any format that has special requirements to win the game, such as 4x4 or Twisted Sister, the special requirements will determine the winner whenever possible. If a player or team ends a round and one or both players or teams meet the game ending requirements then the following rules apply:
a. If both players or teams have met the winning requirements of the game, then the highest scoring player or team wins the game.
b. If one of the players or teams has met the winning requirements, then that player or team that has met the requirements will win the game, no matter who has a higher score. If the game is timed and time has been called, the following rule is added to the above rules to determine the winner. a. If neither player or team has met the winning requirements, then the player or team with the highest score when time is called wins the game.

13. All games will be played on newly created tables only. Saving a table from a previous round will not be allowed.

14. NO TABLE TALK IS ALLOWED!! Example: "Cover me p" or "I need Wilds p" is Table Talk. Anything during play other than gl, gg, gha, nsp or general chit chat will not be permitted. One WARNING only. If a second warning is issued the player will be disqualified.

15. In the event a game ends in tie score, the tie breaker will be 1 round No Discards of regular Hand & Foot using the time left on the current timer. If the tie occurred when time was called, a 1 round game will be played using a new 5 minute timer.

16. In Hand & Foot tournaments, no SUBSTITUTES are allowed.

17. Host decisions are FINAL!! Please comply with host requests and contact management if necessary. If one of our hosts makes a decision, please accept it and let the game/tourney move forward. If you disagree with it, then please send in a ticket with your objection.

18.The host has the right to change the format at any time, but must be courteous to the players and notify them beforehand. 19. In the event that a player gets booted and the game timer runs out whilst they are on timer they still get the full 5 minutes to return. IF they return they get 2 extra minute to rejoin their game and finish or play as much as possible. If the bot plays and the game needs to be restarted 5 extra minutes will be given to play.
