Hi EveryoneBelow is information with regard to the Hoyle VUG site which was posted late yesterday

To the Hoyle Community,Cases Ladder is pleased to let everyone know that weve come up with a way to keep the site up and running.
For the month of March, everything will continue as-is.
Starting April 1st, in order to cover the costs of upcoming hardware migration, our bandwidth and overhead, we will need to collect a small yearly membership fee. With the economy where it is, we worked very hard to keep the yearly ante (membership fee) as little as possible.
If enough community members sign-up, we can make this work for less than $1.70 a month. Because of the way credit card companies bill us, we do need to collect the full year $20 membership at sign-up.
Please know that weve listened carefully to your feedback and think this amount meets your suggestions. We also heard that you want to give the gift of a membership to a friend. So, when you sign up to your membership, you can sponsor a friend for a year at only $10.
We will provide further updates over the next few weeks as we approach the start of the membership drive.
Please take a moment to complete the following short survey to let us know what you think.

Hi,Since we're now going to be charged, will the functionality be improved? I can never get the site to work with my Windows Vista without going through hell and back changing this and that setting to even get the program to launch.
Just curious if everything is staying as is, just now with a fee... or will improvements be made to be more universal and simple for everyone? (In the short-term, not 5-10 years from now.)
Thank you,
Stephen

Hi Stephen,At the present time we, obviously, have no idea as to the answer of that question and a number of others. I have to tell my computer on a daily basis that WonLauncher is not the virus it thinks it is in order that I can access the site.
The only thing I had to make adjustments to in order to use Vista was the ActiveX settings.
We are remaining as a two site ladder for some time to see what happens with Hoyle and for you and others who are unable to access this site hope that you will join us in the Case's ladder room on the World Gaming Center site.
Regards
Viv

: Case's LadderViv: I had to change my security settings to low and now my protected mode shows that it is off. After I got into the room I restored my protected mode to medium and then I was not able to access the room again.

For some reason this takes you to the end of the survey.
So I don't know if it is over or if it is just a glitch for now.- Re: clickable link View
