  Way I understand Case willbe here, but Encore is pulling the actual games..So it will not matter if this place stays up or not, there will not be a place to play.

  Oh BTW, see if Case will leave this up for information purposes for at least a month or so.

  
  : Well, I just got the news that Hoyle appears to be shutting us down, which is a bummer. Especially because we do one on one play, mostly. The other rooms have bots that are much more stupid than Hoyle's (oh, the horror). I hope there's a solution.

  : About 9 years ago, the site was sold and everyone was told that they'd be hosting tourneys themselves and did not want us here. The ladder was 200 people or so strong back then. Most everyone moved to EA sports website and made that their new home, I don't even think it's still around. Anyways, a group of stubborn rogues (I forget who these couragous players were) did not move to EA and continued playing as normal, with much less people. Well the big change never happened and everyone was invited back, but the damage was done and all the others didn't want to come back to the site that betrayed them. The ladder has had its ups and downs since then and has never been what it was back then.

  : Well the point of that story, is to give everyone a gleam of hope and to stick it out and see if the plug gets pulled. Obviously a "plan b" is in order, though.
