Just so everyone knows encoreusa has no rights to this site it is still owned by sierra Vu. The information in the email sent to us from Cases Ladder is incorrect. I think if we all contact Sierra and tell them to please keep this site up and also contact encoreusa and see if they will maybe try and take over this site besides them buying the rights to the Hoyle CD games might help us.

  The main reason the Hoyle Online gaming site that we manage is being shut down is because Encore has released a newer version of the online games (Hoyle Royal Suite) with their release of the 2009 CD-ROM games.
  Players must purchase the CD-ROM games in order to access the online multi-player games. More information can be found at

  We do not know yet if we will be allowed to
  create official Case�s Ladders for the new games, but we are working on
  that. That information will be passed along as we receive it.

    The Problem with this is that only the ones that purchase the CD will be around to play.
    This ladder is so small already and will have no chance of growing unless people go out and purchase the cd(and this number for new users will be next to nil)...access from other puters such as work or others wont be plausable.
    My Vote Still goes to Rengames ...hardwood costs to play and the game is ultimate crap...so are most of the others.
    Whichever is decided for me it is online or i dont think i will follow.

  FYI...the Hoyle 2009 CD is not a CD...it is a DVD. And thus far I am less than impressed...of course I haven't been able to get to a table as you need all 4 seats filled, and not many people are at the site.
