UPCOMING TOURNAMENT SPECIALS
--- HOST SURPRISE DAY ---
This day might include player rule suggestions, regular games we play, or a new twist for an old game from the TD to be revealed at tournament time or on the rules page if you want to look ahead of time.
--- BONUS BOARD DAY ---
Each player will pick a number between 1 and 80 down to between 1 and 16 depending on the board and the players chosen numbers will be posted on the page as well as the bonus board durung the first round. Each player in the tournament would be guaranteed to win something depending on what the prize under their number is.
--- HOSTLESS/SEMI-HOSTLESS TOURNAMENTS ---
Hostless tournaments would allow players to play in any pogo game for up to 24 hours for a round and not need to be in one room for more than 10 mins or enough time to get beginning tokens and pairs posted. If the tournament is semi-hostless the first round would be in one room then all the remaining rounds would be allowed to play in any game a player wishes for up to 24 hours. More specific information will always be on the rules page of the tournament page.
--- RANK BOOSTS OR BONUS BUX DAYS ---
Winners would get a rank boost of 1 rung up to maybe even a #1 spot on the league ladder. The rung rank boosts might also be offered for things like lites in keno or keno pop, or beating the room in lottso, or even the higest score in a tournament in slots. Or winners might be awarded with a guaranteed extra bonus bux.
--- ALMOST FREEBIE DAY ---
All tournaments this day would be 15 bux or less (maybe 10) and give everyone a chance for fun and to win some bux but not spend many.
--- PLAYER SUGGESTION DAY ---
Player suggestions for new twists to games we already play would need to be submitted at least 2 days ahead of time or we could use suggetions from even earlier as long as the TD has time to type the rules on the rules page since these tournaments would be new and not something that is on the regular list of game rules we might have played before. If enough people like a player suggestion then we could add it to the regular list of game rules we play. This one should be fun and let players have more of a say in how we play some of our games. The TD might even ask the player who made the suggestion to explain how to play it at tournament time. :)
